I was commiserating with a friend who is also participating in
about only being 12 days in and really having trouble putting posts together, especially when the hubby is in Atlanta on business, I'm buried in book edits, and have decided to go on a cleaning binge. We aren't even at the halfway point in November and I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel for posts. It's not that we've gotten boring around here. Hardly. Although, now that it's freezing outside, the spiders are dying off (or do they hibernate?), so any excitement on that front will be on hiatus (THANKFULLY!) until next spring. Why is it that the things that scare the crap out of me or nearly kill me (anyone remember a certain vacuum incident?), make for the best blog posts?
So, here we are, Day 12. *crickets*
Because I'm running on bloggy fumes right now, I have decided to let the cats, Griffy and Gracie, help me post today. Oh, don't make that face at me, It counts!IT DOES!!!
Gracie decided that she was going to try and tag along with the hubby on his trip Atlanta...(click to enlarge pics)
Neither cat managed to hitch a ride with the hubby to the airport. Drat!
Oh and I just want to take a moment to reassure the hubby, who usually feeds the cats when he gets up at the butt-crack of dawn, that yes I remembered to feed the cats! It was a little later than they're used to, but they were fed. Of course, Griffy had a pre-dawn snack of chipmunk tartare, so he wasn't really jonesing for any vittles. Gracie on the other hand made quite a racket. Good thing too, otherwise I probably would have forgotten to feed them altogether not realized that she can get quite loud when she wants to.
Wanna see what I have planned for tomorrow?
Nope, not gonna let ya! Sorry. I'm on a bloggy budget right now and that project really deserves a post of it's own!
In the meantime, this is what the Little Imp thinks of this NaBloPoMo thing...
