Recuperating From the Hate

Serendipity decided to land in my lap and has given us some very unseasonable weather to ring in the first few days of Spring.   So, what better way to step away from the computer and all the hate mail after my last post  than to sit poolside and soak up that lovely 80F (it's MARCH in upstate New York, for heaven's sake!) sunshine...

Yes indeed, I've gone Beverly Hills on you and had as much plastic injected into my body, (after having every last bit of fast sucked out), as I could!   OK, alright, I kid.   But if I wasn't pretty sure that my neighborhood had restrictions about nude sunbathing, you can be damned sure that would be me.   Well, after I drop the fat.   Speaking of fat?  Well let's not.   I mean, we'll have to eventually, but tonight?  No!

Seriously though, this post is not  just going to be full of Barbie porn (oh yes I said that! I can only imagine what kind of hits Google is going to bring to Barking Mad!), but while I have in fact been lounging poolside, it's for the benefit of another bathing beauty!

I don't know why I let Gaby jump off of things into the pool.   Alas, I do...

When she got tired of channeling Olympic diving superstar Micki King, she decided that no pool is too small too get down and boogie in...

Boogie board that is! 

This should be interesting...

Well, that didn't work out too well, so she decided to work on her board-paddling skills...

Gaby quickly tired of boogieing on her board, so that left this little dude free to catch some waves...

Folks, that's all I've got for you tonight.   

However, I've got to be honest with you...my last post took a lot out of me and while I sometimes like to delude myself into thinking I'm strong and can handle almost anything, and have a sometimes self-deprecating sense of humor;  being called a murderer, hurt.    I did what was best for me.   It's my body, my mind, and my sense of well-being that is important.  It's not your moral and religious beliefs that I live by.  I will, until my last breath, always support a woman's right to choose for herself what is best for her body, mind and soul.

Next Friday I'm going to get wild and crazy and give away a $100 VISA gift card.   In the interim I'm hoping to finish that post on more diet douchery.

Jumping off of things and into pools is one of the key parts of childhood. If my mom knew half of it... ;)

I'm sad for the nasty comments you received regarding your last post. I appreciate your honesty in all things and I really enjoy reading your blog. I may not agree with you on all things, but it's YOUR blog and you get to write whatever you want! I'm sorry you found yourself in a situation where abortion seemed like the best or the only solution. I have no doubt this was a most difficult decision to make and I can't imagine the resulting heartache. I pray that God will give you peace and while He's at it, that he'll remind us we'll ALL be judged for how we've lived our lives, including how we've judged others!
